In his 25 years as a fundraiser, H. Aldervan Daly, CFRE has assisted non-profits, in New York, Washington, DC, and Atlanta, to meet their fundraising goals. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Heyman Center in the Professional Studies Division where he teaches courses that combine his love of technology and fundraising.

He presently serves as the Executive Vice President of Institutional Advancement for Rising Ground. In that role, he manages a staff of five who oversee Individual Giving, Corporate Giving, Planned Giving, Volunteer Services, Events and Marketing. Previously, Aldervan served as the Director of Advancement for the Police Athletic League -New York City, and Associate Director of Development for the New York Foundling. He has also worked with the Bowery Residents Committee, The Partnership for New York and Arts Connection, the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Momentum Project, and the New York City Administration for Child Welfare.

Aldervan has an MFA specializing in Development and Marketing from Virginia Tech and a BA from Rhodes College. He served six years on the Board of the New York Chapter of AFP.
